Rheumatoid Factor (RF) is an antibody found in approximately 80% of people with rheumatoid arthritis. While not exclusive to RA (it can be positive in other autoimmune conditions, chronic infections, and even in some healthy people), a positive RF combined with symptoms strongly supports an RA diagnosis. Higher levels generally correlate with more severe disease.
